History
Viteri Construction Management, Inc. was born in a garage in 1993 in Newport News, VA. It began from a young inspired entrepreneur named Carlos O. Viteri for the purpose of providing construction services to the federal government. Prior to his completion in the 8(a) program, he knew he needed to branch out into different markets; targeting them with the company’s knowledgeable experience in Construction Management and Design-Build. Throughout the years, the company’s main focus has always been to make the construction process of a project run as smoothly as possible and in a quality and cost-effective manner for all of their clients.

Holiday Party 2006
Holiday Party 2006 was definitely a night to remember. It was held at the Marriott Hotel in City Center located in Newport News. The hotel held a holiday party for small local businesses to pay and attend. Dinner, drinks and live music were all included in this enjoyable evening.
Birthdays
At VCMI, employees are recognized on their special day, even though some of them wish they didn’t (some like to forget they are getting one year older). In retrospect, the company gathers for a mid-afternoon birthday cake, singing included, and the office chips in to get a card and sometimes a small gift for that special birthday person.
Friday Breakfast
Everyone in the office at VCM, Inc. willingly participates in “The Friday Breakfast.” Employees look forward to Friday mornings at the office. Breakfast start the day off right and can consist of doughnuts, bagels, fresh made omelets, or even fast food from one of our local restaurants. It is definitely the day to say Thank Goodness It’s Friday!!
Busy Bid Days
Bid days are extremely busy at VCM, Inc. and there can be limited time for project managers to go out for lunch, therefore, Carlos likes to support his team by providing lunch that usually consists of subs or pizza. That way every one can focus on the bid due that day and not worry about where they are going to eat for lunch.
